Select the Right Air Curtain
○ Choose an air curtain appropriate for your door’s width, height, and purpose (e.g., heating, cooling, dust or insect barrier).
Prepare the Installation Area
○ Clear the doorway area and ensure no obstructions will interfere with the installation.
Measure and Mark the Mounting Position
○ Measure the width of the door and find the center.
○ Mark the mounting holes on the wall or door frame above the doorway, ensuring the air curtain will be aligned properly with the door’s center.
○ Placement Height: The air curtain should ideally be mounted 2-3 inches above the door frame for maximum efficiency.
Drill Holes for Mounting
○ Use a drill to make holes at the marked points.
○ Install wall plugs if mounting on a masonry or concrete surface.
Attach the Mounting Bracket
○ If the air curtain comes with a mounting bracket, secure the bracket to the wall using screws. Use a level to ensure the bracket is straight.
Mount the Air Curtain
○ Lift the air curtain unit and secure it onto the bracket or directly onto the wall using screws.
○ Double-check that the unit is securely fastened and level.
Electrical Connection
○ Plug-in Model: Simply plug the unit into a nearby power outlet.
○ Hardwired Model: Turn off the power at the circuit breaker. Connect the unit to the electrical system following the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. If unsure, consult a professional electrician for this step.
Test the Unit
○ Turn on the air curtain and test its operation.
○ Ensure the airflow covers the entire doorway width and creates an invisible barrier when the door is open.
Adjust Settings
○ Adjust the speed and temperature (if applicable) based on your requirements.
Finalize the Installation
○ Clean up the area, and ensure all screws and wiring are secure.
○ Regularly check for maintenance needs like filter cleaning or fan adjustments.
